Song #5: Your Signature Moment Well, happy Friday good people, and thanks for hanging with me through week #1. This seems like a nice Friday song. I wrote this about an afternoon many days ago at the flats on Barton Creek. Plenty to share! Besos Ian
Song #4 Lords of the Levee A song about manipulating truth to fit your needs, and using faith as a blinder to not let the guilt invade your squinty eyed honesty. Perfect for a Thursday. Hope you guys dig
Song #3: The Lion and the Speckled Bird This one was born during SXSW(always good fodder for writing) I was at the Nick Cave show at Stubb's, and came to the realization that Austin has become the playground of the wealthy, and that the rules have changed. Song#2: Battlelines I wrote this thinking about Guy Clark. I have been realizing that many of the great songwriters are getting up there in age.
